"Music For Moderns"
is the 2nd album by the Lounge Art Ensemble, a jazz
trio with Peter Erskine on drums, Dave Carpenter on
electric & acoustic bass, and Bob Sheppard,
saxophones.
Featuring 11 exciting originals + 1 standard, the
group redefines "West Coast Jazz" as being entirely
relevant, important and modern for our times: "Music
For Moderns," on Fuzzy Music.
("Music For Moderns" is the 2nd album by the Lounge
Art Ensemble. It was also the name of Peter's
father's band in the early 1940s: "Fred Erskine &
his Music for Moderns.")
